7 Top Security Guard Gear You Need

If you are a security guard, then you know that you must carry lots of gear. If you are a good security guard, you know that the equipment you carry not only is there to protect yourself, but the property you are assigned to. Making sure you have the right equipment is important to perform efficiently.

Here are the top 7 pieces of equipment that security officers need to have:

1. Flashlight

A good flashlight is one of the most important pieces of equipment that a security guard can carry. Carrying the right kind of flashlight is needed even if you’re assigned to a day job. Certain scenarios may require some extra light to help you see such as a dark location.

A flashlight can also be used for protection. Purchasing a long heavy duty metal flashlight could be used as a striking device if needed.
