Requirements to be a security guard in Colorado:
- Must be at least 18 year old
- Must be a resident of Colorado
- Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or state ID card
- Must be a United States citizen or registered resident alien
- A valid social security card
- Proof of background check
Armed Security Guard Requirements:
- Need to be at least 21 to receive consideration for an armed position.
- Legal mandates are more stringent.
